Important Notes

Before you start

 

You must have the required documents ready to upload before you proceed.

  1. Passport-size photograph (less than 3 mb; in jpg/png/jpeg format)
  2. Certificates of Degrees – Graduate, Post-Graduate, any other relevant courses for the application (each certificate less than 3 mb; in pdf/jpg format)
  3. Aadhar card/Voter ID/Passport/Driving Licence (less than 3 mb; in pdf/jpg format)
  4. PAN card (less than 3 mb; in pdf/jpg format)

 

Filling the Application Form 

  • A person or organisation seeking admission to be a member in any of the classes of the Institute shall apply to the Secretary as specified in the Bye-laws, after completing the respective application form in all respects. 
  • A student seeking enrolment to the Institute shall apply as specified in the Bye-laws after completing the application form in all respects.
  • An Institution seeking membership shall apply as specified in the Bye-laws, after completing the specific application form for Institutional members in all respects.
  • The application shall be accompanied by the one-time Enrolment Fee and annual subscription as prescribed for the category of membership. 
  • The fee shall be payable through an online portal or the provided QR code, and shall be as prescribed in the Bye-laws, or as decided by the Council or Executive Committee from time to time. 

 

General

  • The Council or Executive Committee reserves the right to determine the increase in annual subscription or enrolment/transfer fee, if necessary, in any subsequent period. 
  • Annual subscriptions are payable on the first day of April every year.
  • A late fee of 10% on a recurring basis will apply to the delay in payment of the annual membership.
  • The rights and privileges of members having arrears of fees for two years or more shall be withheld. Reinstatement of membership shall be considered as per the Bye-laws.
  • Any member may request termination of membership at any time by applying to the Secretary, but she/he shall nevertheless continue to be liable to pay any subscription or arrears of subscription due at the date of such application. The same shall be approved after consideration by the Council or Executive Committee, as per the Bye-laws.
  • The Council or Executive Committee shall issue a certificate to every Member upon election as a Member of the Institute. The certificate is the property of the Institute. When a person, for any reason, ceases to hold membership in any category, she/ he shall forthwith return to the Secretary the certificate of membership issued to her/ him.
  • All disputes are subject to the New Delhi jurisdiction only.
  • Deposition of membership fees does not guarantee membership and is subject to the decision of the institute, which is final.



Admission to Membership 

The Council alone shall elect a person to be a Professional Member of the Institute other than an Honorary Member, by a majority of votes of at least 3/4th of the members present in a meeting of its Council/Executive Committee. An Institutional, Corporate, or Affiliate member shall be enrolled by the decision of the Council or Executive Committee in a meeting, provided the quorum is complete, and as per the criteria specified under qualification for membership.
